Perlite is an amorphous volcanic glass. Due to having a relatively high water content, it expands 2 to 20 times of its initial volume in high temperatures. These features set the perlite as a raw material used in many important industries. Perlite can be offered as raw perlite ore, crushed - screened raw perlite, expanded perlite, and micronized perlite.
